The cruise is a departure from the flotilla format of previous years (Cruise In Company). It will now take on the format of a series of organized events between which participants will be free to cruise ensuring they get the most out of visiting North Wales.

The cruise's focus is on visiting the castles of North Wales and an entry pass will be provided for each participant. We expect to attract 30 - 40 yachts from North West England, The Isle of Man, Wales, Ireland and further afield.

A welcome party with a folk band and supper will be organized for the start at Holyhead, two days later a castle tour and Welsh food and drink 'degustasion' will take place in Conwy. A stop is scheduled for Caernarfon and a Calypso beach party organized for the idyllic Porth Dinllaen.

The participants then have four days to reach Barmouth giving options to cruise to Bardsey Island, Abersoch, Pwllheli and Porthmadog. A final event will be held at Harlech with a medieval re-enactment and tour at the castle and a finishing supper at the Royal St. David's Golf Club. Favourable berthing fees will be arranged for the main harbours visited and much fun and cammeraderie is anticipated!
